Setting Instagram ablaze with stunning, sultry photos from her upcoming magazine cover with renowned brand Playboy, modeling star Lori Harvey, 28, has left fans with their mouths agape. The magazine’s editorial team recently broke down their collaboration with Harvey, outlining details about the concept of the cover issue.

In a collaborative post with the entrepreneur, Playboy shared five eye-catching photos showing Harvey working the camera in an array of form-fitting and sensual ensembles, like a cream-colored structural bodice.

With Lori Harvey as the cover star, the upcoming Playboy magazine relaunch embraces both nostalgia and modern elegance. According to the magazine’s editorial team, the 2025 edition integrates classic aesthetics with contemporary storytelling, highlighted by a visually rich cinematic journey including a vintage 1960 MG A Convertible.

“Every detail—from the setting to the wardrobe to the carefully curated props—was intentionally selected to celebrate and reimagine Playboy’s enduring mystique,” explains the team.

In addition to the image of Harvey posing next to the vintage car in a latex body suit with extravagant shoulder pads, the 28-year-old was photographed topless by a pool. She only donned a pink feathered mini skirt and matching opera gloves.

Adding to the look were her golden, honey-brown tresses that cascaded effortlessly over one shoulder as she gazed at the camera with a sultry expression, embodying elegance and confidence.

Scheduled for release at Barnes & Noble newsstands nationwide, the magazine will also showcase a cover story with Harvey, and a Playboy interview with comedian and actress Nikki Glaser. Additionally, Playboy will continue its tradition with the Playmate of the Year centerfold.

Upon seeing the Instagram post, which also included a photo of the model in a strapless blue plaid mini dress with matching thigh-high stockings and white heels, social media users flocked to comment sections to swoon over Harvey. “Wow🤩🤩🤩 perfect blend of feminine, sexy and classy,” gushed a fan.

The overwhelmingly warm reception Harvey received for her Playboy photos online juxtaposes the criticism she faced in December last year (2024) when she stepped out onto the streets of Paris in a pantsless look.

A video shared by a French TikToker named Amar Taoualit showed Harvey, who was accompanied by her mother, exiting a glamorous venue.

The duo strutted their way to a black car where they hopped inside right before the video ended. For their excursion, Harvey’s mom looked chic in an all-black ensemble, including a leather jacket with gold accessories, a polo neck, pants, and heels.

She also sported a headpiece and sunglasses and carried a black handbag. Matching her chic style, Harvey donned a black hoodie, which she covered with a puffy, dark-colored jacket, and black fishnet tights that left her legs exposed.

The model completed her outfit with light-colored glasses, and closed-toe heels in a nude color, and carried a chic handbag.

Social media users who saw the mother and daughter out and about in the city of light did not hold back with their opinions concerning Harvey’s revealing outfit.

“Does this generation know what pants are?” questioned an Instagrammer, while another opined, “Honestly thought she had more class than this…”

Complimenting the 28-year-old’s beauty while disapproving her attire, a netizen penned, “She is beautiful but she doesn’t need to do that.”

Expressing a similar sentiment, someone else echoed, “Sad they feel that they have to go around like that, Girl save it for the bedroom, she may be pretty on the outside but what matters is the Inside [sic].”

“I think just as I’ve grown older, I’ve gotten more comfortable in my skin. Just more confident in who I am. So now I just embrace it. Embrace it all. Take it all in and really owning it [sic],” shared Harvey.

“I want to be comfortable, especially because all the kids are coming over, and they’ll color on me. They’ll put stickers on me. They’ll want to braid my hair. They’ll want to do anything so I’m like, ‘Let me just be chill, sweats and then whatever you guys want to do [sic],'” disclosed Harvey.

Earlier that same year (2023), the Playboy cover girl chatted with People about style influences and revealed the iconic musician and beauty mogul whose fashion sense she has an affinity for.

“I would raid Rihanna for sure, she’s a fashion icon and I enjoy her take on personal style,” Harvey said, referencing the Fenty Beauty founder’s wardrobe.

During the same interview, which took place amid Coachella, Harvey also spoke about how she raided her mom’s closet for her first year attending the music event and shared how she did the same thing with her own closet for last year’s Coachella.

Speaking about her Coachella style overall, the model mentioned, “There’s already a standard style that’s been set over the years, so for me, it’s all about adding my own individual style and keeping comfort first in mind.”
