The representative of the Mötley Crüe frontman has promised to give more updates later, noting that the situation is evolving rapidly.
Vince Neil’s Learjet collided with a parked plane at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on the afternoon of February 7, 2025. His representative, Worrick Robinson IV, has shared a statement on Instagram, shedding more light on the unfortunate incident.

The singer’s representative confirmed that the aircraft was carrying two pilots and two passengers but Neil was not aboard during the incident. He shared that the plane was attempting to land when it veered off course and struck a parked aircraft.
A total of five people were involved in the crash. One person died, two were critically injured and taken to a trauma center, another sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and one individual declined medical treatment.
Robinson went on to say that the situation is evolving rapidly but noted that an investigation is underway and more information, once known, will be shared later. The representative concluded, “Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”
Neil’s fans flocked to the comment section to express concern and sadness over the incident. One fan remarked, “This really scared me. Posts like this always make me think someone’s died🥲.” A fan with similar sentimentssimply stated, “So scary. So sorry for all involved.” “This is heartbreaking,” another fan noted.
Others expressed sympathy, with one writing, with a fan penning, “So sad to hear this… my thoughts go out to everyone. 🤍,” while another user said, “Very sad news… I’m really sorry!!” “I’m great full that no one else lost their life, I pray for the Family that lost their loved one, it’s tragic this even happened.🥺 [sic],” another person chimed in.
The sad nature of the incident struck a chord with another, who wrote, “Tragic! Condolences to the pilot’s family and a good recovery to the injured!!”
Some were initially worried about Neil’s safety before learning he wasn’t on board. One fan admitted, “I’m sorry to hear about the pilot’s loss. Thank you for the update. I was concerned about Vince when I heard the plane belonged to him.”
The FAA reported the crash occurred around 2:45 p.m., prompting a temporary suspension of flights at the airport. At 2:50 p.m., the airport posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating the accident happened upon arrival at runway 21.
Officials confirmed that the parked Gulfstream 200 was on private property when it was struck. Emergency crews, including firefighters, police, and FAA investigators, responded to the scene.
Spokesperson Kelli Kuester explained the likely cause of the crash, “It appears that the left main gear failed upon landing resulting in the accident.” As a result, the runway remains closed, according to Scottsdale Airport’s official X page (formerly Twitter).
According to TMZ, as much as the plane belongs to Neil, it is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, a company linked to the rockstar.
While Neil was not traveling, his girlfriend, Rain, and her friend, Ashley, were on board. Both were rushed to the hospital, with Rain suffering five broken ribs. The dogs traveling with them survived the impact.
In addition to Robinson, the band’s manager, Allen Kovac, confirmed that Neil was safe and expressed condolences to the victims’ families. He added that the group is considering ways to support those affected by the tragedy.
Meanwhile, the airport management has released a statement on X, acknowledging the incident. “Our thoughts are with everyone that has been impacted by this tragic event,” the statement read.
The tragic accident comes amid a string of recent aviation disasters, including a midair collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter near Washington, D.C., that killed 67 people and a medical plane that crashed in Philadelphia and left seven dead.
Additionally, a small plane that went missing over Alaska’s Bering Sea was later reported to have crashed too. The Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, carrying 10 people, was found after an extensive search near Nome.
